Computer Engineering Undergraduate Thesis Presentation

Ryan Meghdies giving a presentation on his undergraduate design project for Ryerson University. Ryan Meghdies was the team lead for this project and his group was awarded Ryerson Universities Capstone Design Project Bronze Award for their success. This vehicle security system was developed for an undergraduate thesis project. We used an ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller and developed an algorithm to predict danger levels. Our hardware API was developed using primarily the C programming language. The web application can be viewed at: http://www.NSRSecure.com Additional project details: http://www.RyanMeghdies.com/thesis-project.html My role in this project: http://www.RyanMeghdies.com/my-role.html Most people do not consider the sound of a car alarm to be a cause for concern. In fact, many of us use this feature to locate our vehicle in a parking lot. The issue with today's car alarms is not determining whether a vehicle has been broken into. Instead the issue lies in the before and after of the break-in scenario. That is what the focus of this project is and the problem our car security system hopes to solve
